Anthea has over 13 years of residential real estate experience. She started her real estate career in 2004. In 2008, she was promoted to Director of Sales.
Anthea then worked as Broker-In-Charge of Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers, as seen on HGTV’s show “Hawaii Life,” where she managed the agents of all 3 offices on the island of Kaua'i and held a position on the finance committee with her local real estate board. She has also been a real estate brokerage owner in northern California, before relocating to Texas. Anthea's husband is a general building contractor in the Dallas area and has quickly earned the reputation of being one of North Dallas' finest luxury home builders. Therefore, Anthea is a great resource for those wanting to engage in new construction or remodels.
I purchased my first home when I was just 19 years old. You could say I was an atypical teenager, with the ultimate goal of home ownership, and worked 3 jobs at once to save up for a down payment. Investing in real estate soon became a way of life for me. Because I had a lot of experience as both a buyer and a seller, my family and friends strongly encouraged me to pursue a career in real estate. I'll admit, I wasn't a big fan of real estate agents at this point and was quick to dismiss their idea! The first 2 experiences I had were not the most favorable. I wasn't sure what the agents were doing, but they sure weren't answering their phones! I felt like I was doing all the work and constantly chasing down the transactions. The sales pitches and gross sales tactics I received had me shaking my head to myself and questioning their honesty, sincerity, and integrity. I was receiving generated and almost robotic responses without data to back up answers. I need to see facts and data. I don't want to hear why someone thinks I should buy or sell and why this house is "the best in the world" or "will make my dreams come true." There are great agents out there. It's an unfortunate reality that those with negative traits or poor work ethics exist and cloud the industry's reputation. The industry standard is high and anything less isn't acceptable. It's really important to find a full-time agent, with high integrity, and one that upholds the code of ethics in their core values.

I am a perfectionist by nature and am therefore very detail-oriented. My clients are informed and updated throughout the entire transaction process.
